- Acclaimed Flop: While not a complete commercial failure, this game failed to sell well at all despite having positive reviews from both critics and players. Speculation abounds as to why this might be - bad timing and very niche gameplay mechanics are the biggest culprits. Unfortunately, this caused the developers to drop support for the game in record time, less than a year after release with fairly severe bugs such as the inability to unlock all suits.
- Acting for Two:
- Jake Green is Eddie Brock and Morbius.
- Darin De Paul as Venom, Ghost Rider, and Chthon.
- Colbert Bump: Pat Boivin's positive impressions of the game in early 2024 led to a sharp increase in interest and sales for the game.
- Dummied Out: For reasons known only to the developers, the Hulk and only the Hulk is completely missing friendship levels. There is even data related to his likes and dislikes, but it doesn't matter since for some reason you can't ever be friends with him.
- Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition: The official website for the game shows that there are four separate editions available: the standard edition, and three more editions (Enhanced, Digital +, and Legendary) which include an increasing number of premium skins for the playable heroes. The Legendary Edition also includes a season pass for access to DLC heroes and missions.
- Real Song Theme Tune: The song "Don't You (Forget About Me)" was heard at the end of "The Good, The Bad, and the Undead" DLC.
- Role Reprise:
- Steve Blum, as usual, voices Wolverine.
- Fred Tatasciore returns as the voice of the Hulk.
- Yuri Lowenthal reprises his role as Spider-Man from the Spider-Man (PS4) series as well as Super Hero Squad Online (albeit taking over from Mikey Kelley) and the iOS version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man Unlimited.
- Lyrica Okano reprises her role as Nico Minoru from Runaways (2017).
- Nolan North once again returns to voice Deadpool, a role he first took on in Hulk Vs. Wolverine and most recently reprised for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.
- Rick Pasqualone returns as Doctor Strange from Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
- Erica Lindbeck reprises her role of Captain Marvel from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order and Marvel Future Avengers.
- Brian Bloom once again voices Captain America, being one of his recurring voice actors since The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, with his most recent appearance in MUA 3.
- Josh Keaton reprises Iron Man from Iron Man VR.
- Peter Lurie reprises Sabretooth which he first did in X-Men Legends and last did the role in the dub of Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers.
- And finally for the DLC, Jake Green and Mara Junot reprise their roles as Morbius and Storm respectively from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.
- In the French dub, Spider-Man is voiced by Donald Reignoux, who first voiced the character in The Amazing Spider-Man Series and has reprised the role in several video games since LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.
- What Could Have Been:
- Jake Solomon wanted to include Deadpool in the base game but Marvel advised against it, pointing out that Deadpool tends to steal the spotlight whenever he shows up. Deadpool thus became a DLC character.
- There was going to be a port to the Switch, but it was cancelled.
- Romances with the Marvel characters were originally planned to be possible with the Hunter, but were scrapped—though remnants of this remain with characters like Magik and Iron Man.
- Word of God: The developers have stated that fans are free to interpret the Hunter's relationships with any of the heroes being romantic.
