Dummied Out: New England was intentionally left out as a playable faction in the Americas Campaign because it would've been an incredibly huge anachronism for them to colonize the new world in the 16th century (They started in the 17th century). However, a few necessary changes in the game files can make them available for the campaign.
Shout Out:
There is a set of four character traits which in the game files are called "Drink", "Feck", "Arse" and "Girls", an obvious reference to the only four words Father Jack from Father Ted has been known to utter.
