- Development Gag: One of the earlier concepts also features a boy and his red robot friend in a poster titled Ola Amato◊. The scrapped duo can be seen in background illustrations several times, such as on a poster in Amato's garage as well as in Deep's comic book.
- Release Date Change: The movie was initially planned to release in 2020 before the series, but due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the date was moved several times while the series' launch on Cartoon Network was fixed to December 2021. After many postponed dates, from late 2020 to several months in 2021, the film finally settled for a release on 8th December 2022.
- What Could Have Been: This concept art from 2017/18 features Amato alongside a girl who also has a white streak in her hair. It's heavily suggested that Amato could have had a younger sister accompanying him on his adventures.
