• Cast the Expert: Mangaverse's creator Ben Dunn made a career for himself making "How to Draw Manga" books as well as having drawn his own manga-esqe series, Ninja High School. He's called the "Godfather of American Manga" for a reason.
• Follow the Leader: If you couldn't tell already by its premise and the date it released, the series was an attempt by Marvel to cash in on the Anime craze sweeping American pop culture during The '90s and the Turn of the Millennium.
• In Memoriam: The Ghost Riders one-shot is dedicated to Chuck Austen's late brother Dan Beckum.
