The No-Prizes are on-site Cosmetic Awards. They provide examples of:
- Shout-Out: Quite a few. Many of the names reference things specific to comics (Hope You Survive for threading with the X-men). No-Prizes won by threading with mods feature a quasi-anthropomorphic version of the Yellow M. Some No-Prizes share names with TV Tropes tropes.
No-Prizes: Marvel Comics Presents
These No-Prizes are sort of catch-all No-Prizes that don't fit somewhere more narrow.
- Acting for Two: Encouraged by the Double Post No-Prize for posting as two different characters in the same post.
- Baseball Episode: Possible with Contest of Champions.
- Big Applesauce: As Marvel is very New York-centric, there's one No-Prize for Roleplaying in a board for stories set in New York and another for Roleplaying in one for stories set anywhere else in the universe.
- Burger Fool: Invoked in the image for Average Joe, which requires a superhero/villain to spend time as their alter ego. It's Gert Yorkes in an embarrassing fast food uniform.
- Chronic Hero Syndrome: . . . There Must Also Come Great Responsibility requires heroics to interfere with one's personal life.
- Concert Episode / Movie-Theater Episode: Encouraged by Live From New York.
- Creator Cameo: John Byrne, Steve Ditko, Jack Kirby, and Marie Severin show up for No-Prizes awarded for having number of posts ranging from 250 with Byrne to 2000 for Kirby. Stan Lee meanwhile is the image for a No-Prize used for what is effectively a character cameo.
- Halloween Episode: Tomb of Horror requires a horror-themed post in October.
- Historical AU: Days of Future Past is set in either the past or future.
- No-Dialogue Episode: Silence is Golden requires a 500+ word post with no spoken dialogue.

- Secret-Keeper: You get the titular No-Prize for adding a new one.
- Superhero School: ABC is Easy doesn't strictly require this, but it's the most likely given the overall setting.
- Title Drop: Roll Credits requires this to earn it.
