Time to finish Trivia page: 42

  • Creator's Pest: The Marble Man character from the alpha build of Marble Madness II was called "hokey, stupid, and meaningless" by testers of the alpha version and would be axed in the beta version as a result.
  • Dummied Out: The songs for the Aerial, Silly, and Ultimate races are in the GBA version, but are unused due to that version ending after the Intermediate Race.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Prototype boards of Marble Madness II, including both the alpha (the version containing the Marble Man character) and beta versions exist, most notably a playable board at California Extreme. It wouldn't be until May 2022 when the beta version was dumped and posted online, nearly three decades after it was originally scrapped.
  • No Export for You:
    • The Tengen-developed Genesis port never left Japan. The version released everywhere else was developed by EA.
    • The NES version was surprisingly never released in Japan.
  • Port Overdosed: Ported to every contemporaneous platform and re-released many times since.
  • Vaporware: Marble Madness II: Marble Man was never given an official release and only exist as prototypes in the hands of collectors.
  • What Could Have Been: Certain concepts for the game, such as teeter-totters and balance scales, were drafted but not implemented in the game.
