- Acting for Two: The Movie Explorer, his brother Oscar (and his four children), his camera operator Liza and Colonel Weatherballoon are all portrayed/voiced by the same man.
- Channel Hop:
- James Walsh and some of the other authors started out blogging for Channel Awesome, but moved to another site in response to how little effort CA put into promoting the blogs (all of which ultimately disappeared in 2018).
- The host that used between 2014 to 2020 deleted the website based on spam entries on the forums so the website then had to use another hosting service.
- Creator Backlash:
- For Hedonistic Actor the comic he made when he was younger is an Old Shame. He now has a show on the site for the specific purpose of pointing out everything that was wrong with it.
- Mr. Aspiring Actor doesn't care for his show, Mr. Aspiring Actor presents, even to the point where he re-named some of his episodes "Crappy Reviews".
- In Memoriam: NJ dedicated a countdown of his 10 favorite The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes episodes (written before his Asian and Nerdy shtick) to Stan Lee, and an essay about Everything Everywhere All at Once to his former high school's Perspectives in Science Fiction teacher. Sometimes he also dedicates a Star Wars article to a deceased performer from the movies.
- Missing Episode: After the website got revived, a lot of the site's content from 2014 to 2020 is gone thanks to the massive purge of the previous host.
