Trivia / Man in the Mirror: The Michael Jackson Story

Go To

  • Creator Backlash: Flex Alexander initially defended the film when it came out, but admitted years later that the film was bad, and regretted taking the role of Jackson, only taking it because he was offered a big paycheck. On the bright side, he said he was able to take all of the jokes made about his casting in stride.
  • Disowned Adaptation: Because of how bad it made him look, and the timing of its release (a good month before his child molestation trial), Jackson himself had no kind words for the film, and released a statement denouncing it.
