- Directed by Cast Member:
- Besides directing Sentai's English dub, Emily Neves and Leraldo Anzaldua respectively voiced Minako Ayuzawa and Naoya Shirokawa.
- In the German dub, Sabine Sebastian is Minako Ayuzawa's voice actress, as well as the ADR Director and writer.
- Dueling Dubs: The anime had two English dubs. The first was made for Animax Asia's 2010 release. The second, and most well-known one, was produced by Sentai Filmworks for their 2015 home media re-release.
- Market-Based Title: Maid-Sama! is the English title. The original title is Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
- The Other Darrin: As with the case of many series getting a drama CD before it has a greenlit anime production, everyone from the former was inevitably recast. For example, Misaki Ayuzawa, voiced by Sanae Kobayashi in the drama CD, is voiced by Ayumi Fujimura in the anime.
- Playing Against Type: Misaki's mom Minako and boss Satsuki who are both above 30 years old are played by Ayako Kawasumi and Aki Toyosaki respectively, who both usually play younger girls. In a different light, Shizuko is played by Yuu Kobayashi, who at this point, is best known for playing Sarutobi Ayame, who is the complete opposite of Shizuko.
- Barring the age group of their usual roles, the personalities of the characters are pretty comparable to that of their usual roles.
- Written by Cast Member: Emily Neves was one of the two ADR scriptwriters for Sentai's English dub.
