Trivia / Magical Emi, the Magic Star

• The Other Darrin: In Kumo Hikaru, Mai was voiced by Aya Hisakawa as Yoko Obata had long since retired from the entertainment biz at this point.
• Studio Hop: The main series' sound effects were handled by Jun'ichi Sasaki back when he still worked at Anime Sound Production ^note  as was most of Pierrot's Magical Girl titles — Magical Girl franchise, like Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel and Fancy Lala, with the exception of the Harbour Light Story Fashion Lala OVA which was handled by Swara Productions , the Kumo Hikaru OVA on the other hand was handled by Sound Box.
