Trivia / Lost S03E14 "Exposé"

• Blooper: The newspaper that Paulo reads at the airport is dated September 24, even though the flight was on September 22. Apparently, the error was caught during production and was supposed to be fixed, but it ultimately remained in the episode.
• Deleted Scene: A cut flashback showed Nikki and Paulo's reaction to the hatch detonation, with her realization that she's only cared about the diamonds and saying that they should interact more with the other survivors.
• Magnum Opus Dissonance: Despite its status as a deeply polarising episode amongst fans, the showrunners have declared this to be one of their favourite episodes of the series.
• What Could Have Been: Originally, Nikki's flashbacks would have been an entire episode of Exposé, ending with her being shot and then revealing that it was a TV show. However, the negative reaction to Nikki and Paulo resulted in her solo episode being scrapped and reduced to this.
