• Acting for Two: The narrator and Urs Vorn are both voiced by Jurota Kosugi.
• Directed by Cast Member: The English dub of the series was directed by Elen's VA, Caitlin Glass.
• Executive Meddling: Tsukasa Kawaguchi envisioned that the story would focus on a young male archer and a female swordswoman as the main protagonists. MF Bunko J's editorial department requested that six other additional girls be added in addition to the female swordswoman, who would eventually become Eleonora Viltaria.
• No Export for You: The light novels have never been licensed by an English publisher. After 11 years and being passed around three different fan translation groups, the main series was finally completed in English when Volume 18 was finished in January 2023^note Baka-Tsuki translated Volumes 1-8 from October 2012 to January 2016 before dropping it, 8 months later an independent translator calling himself Setsuna86 then translated Volume 9 up to half of Volume 14 from September 2016 to August 2019 before disappearing off the Internet, and then the Infinite Novel Translations group picked up the series where he left off at the second half of Volume 14 in June 2020 and saw it through to the end.
  • Same for the spinoff series Madan no Ou to Michelia, however the same fan translation group that finished the main series also started work on this one in February 2023.
  • The second spinoff series Madan no Ou to Seisen no Carnwenharn only had a few chapters of its first volume fan translated before updates stopped in June 2021 and never picked back up again.
• The Other Darrin: A non-voice actor example. When the original author, Yoshi☆Wo, fell ill, and Volume 5's pictures end up being done by the manga author, Nobuhiko Yanai. After the backlash against Yanai's artwork, Yoshi☆Wo returned for Volumes 7 and 8, but decided to leave for other work. Since Volume 9, the illustrator is Hinata Katagiri.
• The Other Marty: Colleen Clinkenbeard was originally cast as Eleonora Viltaria during the English dub's production, but left due to scheduling conflicts, so the role was recast with ADR director Caitlin Glass.
