- Accidentally-Correct Writing: This post from a fan draws similarities between the Vitriolic Best Buds dynamic among the foxgirls in-game and the tendency of real-life female foxes to hate each other and have fights.
- Approval of God: Nami highly encourages fanworks of her games. One example for this series is the fic Tipsy Bunny Mochi, which she liked according to one of the comments on it.
- Author's Saving Throw: Nami said Friendly Bunny Mochi was set at night due to complaints about the brightness of the snowy tiles. This is also why it timeskips to spring in Chapter 3.
- Blooper: Near the end of Chapter 4, you can skip knocking on Treat's door and go straight to the hot springs, leading to a slightly different scene there since Mochi isn't present. However, she does inexplicably show up later while the cast is eating. This could be explained by her being invited later to meet Trick, though.
- Creator's Favorite:
- In a reply to a comment on the fourth game, Nami states that Treat is her favorite character who appears in the series, hence why the first game is focused on her.
- Of the newer characters, Timber is her favorite.
- Fan Translation: The original six standalone games received translations to some languages by fans.
- No Origin Stories Allowed: There are no plans to show Moxie's Disappeared Dad in any capacity.
- Referenced by...: The fanfiction Guardian Angel (FNAF) makes a reference to the series in Chapter 3, with Elizabeth Afton mentioning she's going to play games about cute wolf girls, bunny girls and fox girls.
- Shrug of God:
- It is unclear whether Salt and Pepper are friends, lovers, or something else. Nami confirms here that their relationship status is intentionally left ambiguous.
- She also didn't clarify the connection between Time and Space, and Thyme and Spice, as seen here.
- Sequel Gap: The first (and only) noticeable one is between Mochi in Frosting and the Complete Series, both of which were released on Jun 07, 2019 and Aug 01, 2022, respectively.
- Torch the Franchise and Run: Nami stated that she doesn't want to make a sequel to the series, hence why she'll be cramming a lot in the epilogue.
- What Could Have Been:
- Pepper's personality was originally planned to be "acts nice but secretly hates everybody", but ended up being the exact opposite (acts like she hates everybody but is secretly nice).
- An alternative ending was originally planned for Chapter 7, but it was scrapped and Chapter 3 got instead because there wasn't much to work with in the former.
- Word of Gay: Powder is confirmed to be transmasculine in this post.
- Word of God:
- Nami has stated that Treat's hot springs work uniform is directly based on the ones from Spirited Away.
- Brickzo is named after Kinzo Ushiromiya from Umineko: When They Cry.
- This post mentions that Treat was visually inspired by Fenrich.
- Nami confirmed that Genoise's old familiar Madeleine is dead.
- Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: Nami admitted that the series wasn't meant to have so many chapters, but she kept getting more ideas so she kept it going.
