  • Acting for Two: All voices are provided by Pérusse himself, though some of them are edited.
  • Approval of God: The real life Bob Hartley has given his blessing to François Pérusse to use "him" as a character, saying he liked the sketches.
    • Same goes for Ron Fournier, who's parodied as Raymond Faublier.
  • Corpsing: Pérusse mentioned he had a hard time finishing a sketch involving him singing horrible gibberish, before it's revealed that this is Rihanna's normal singing voice before Auto-Tune kicks in because he couldn't stop laughing.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: There are around 4000 sketches. Some of them were chosen by Pérusse to go on various albums over the years, but for a while the only way to listen to old sketches that only aired on the radio was to hope someone recorded it and shared it on Youtube or on some other fileshare. In addition, the "album" versions were very often different from the "radio" versions, with some jokes being cut or merged into other sketches. This is beginning to fade away though, with François Pérusse making an official Youtube channel where he shares original material from his career, both in Quebec and Europe.
  • Word of God: The little girl sitting on a Mall Santa's lap with the Speech Impediment who ends up being nicknamed "Klépétar" by said Santa Claus is actually named "Jocelyne Bédard" and what she wanted for Christmas was a Kit-Kat candy bar, according to the Best Ove! album.
    • He has also repeatedly explained the Ski-Doo gag (where everyone goes "Eeeeeesh" at someone asking whether you can keep a ski-doo out in the yard): The motor and other parts of a snowmobile could react poorly to being left in the cold for extended periods of time, when it's not being used.
  • Write Who You Know: François has explained a few times that the lousy radio show host Louis-Paul Fafard-Allard is more or less himself during his younger days when he was hosting radio shows in the Québec City area.
