- Awesome, Dear Boy: Paul Bettany did the film because he got to play with guns and got to be the good guy in an action film for once.
- Dawson Casting: Jeep, if Michael is to be believed, is only 20.
- Stillborn Franchise: The movie was absolutely intended to be followed by a number of sequels that were going to flesh out the ongoing apocalypse and this world's version of Biblical lore. Even ending with Michael telling the other survivors that they need to go out, undertake a quest and meet other supernatural beings along the way right before the ending. But poor reviews and an underwhelming box office killed any thoughts of a film series long ago.
