• Acting for Two: Marc Labrèche portrays four roles: Brett, Brad, Brenda, as well as their grandfather Clifford. Likewise, Anne Dorval plays both Criquette and Ashley. In order to achieve this trope, they would often have a very obvious body double to play one of these characters, whose face would be hidden. In other cases, they would use Double Vision.
  • In one memorable example, for an entire long scene, Brad was represented by a mannequin shoulder shot from the back in the foreground, and an insert shot of him exclaiming “Ho ho, yes!” inserted several times in the same scene.
