Acting for Two: As host of Alive from Off Center she performed skits as both herself and as her own male clone. She also performed an early version of the male clone character (and also as a second, clown-like clone) for her own episode of Alive from Off Center a couple of years before she hosted it; she also played the male clone again for her CD-ROM art release, Puppet Motel.
Became NASA's first Writer-in-Residence, a controversial appointment that likely means she'll remain the agency's only Writer-in-Residence. (She later based her one-woman show Dark Side of the Moon on her experiences.)
