Trivia / La rosa de Guadalupe

Go To

  • Franchise Zombie: Word of God (Carlos Mercado Orduña) thought the show would only last 5 years. Considering that the show has been around for over fifteen years and with constant episodes in production, it is extremely unlikely that the show will end.
  • Missing Episode: "Adiós Inocencia" (Goodbye Innocence), an episode based on the real-life incident of 12 delinquents in camp "El Colibrí" where they robbed the people there and sexually assaulted seven girls. It was about to be aired in August 10, 2012 until the victims and their parents sent letters to the producer Miguel Ángel Herros and even to the Televisa's CEO Emilio Azcárraga Jean, to prevent its airing. The efforts succeeded, and the only proof of this episode's existence is a preview.
  • No Budget: Pretty much evident by having mostly no-name actors and just having overall poor production values even by the standards of Televisa.
  • Recycled Script: "La luz te va a salvar" (The Light Will Save You) and "Las rosas" (The Roses) have the same plot. The only difference aside from the setting is that in the former a teen girl is kidnapped by her boyfriend and she emits a blinding, burning light that saves her, while in the latter the girl and her friend get kidnapped by their teacher, and the Virgin appears to blind the couple's captors personally.
    • "Brazadas de Amor" (Strokes of Love) and "A toda Bateria" (With all Drums) are a more obvious example of this, as in this episode, even the dialogues are recycled.
