• Acting for Two: There were six voice actors for the entire show (plus one if you count the end credits), including the five main humans, Treffhetes, the 13-headed dragon and his 3-headed toddler. Rarely did characters played by the same actors speak in the same scene, and each episode would only feature a few of the dragon's heads.
• Blooper: The king's original castle was meant to be destroyed in episode 9 and replaced by the updated castle seen in the rest of the series. The episode was accidentally animated with the new castle, creating quite a continuity gaffe, as the old castle was suddenly inexplicably gone and the newly destroyed second castle was back to normal in the following episode. Though the staff caught the error, it was too late to fix. The writer handwaved this by suggesting the king simply owns many castles and the original might still be standing someplace else. The series hardly had any continuity anyway.
• Cross-Dressing Voices: All six voice actors were men. Their cheesy falsetto voices for female characters is part of the humor. Treffhetes the steed is the exception, having a barely altered, deep male voice despite occasionally being referred to as a mare.
• Executive Meddling: Originally, episodes were planned to run for about 10 minutes, until the network had them cut down to 7 (about two of which are the opening and ending credits), forcing impromptu script rewrites.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The series only aired on TV in the 90s. Any episodes that might pop up on the web are VHS recordings, since no official home media or online release ever came out.
• The Other Darrin: Even with the minimal voice cast, some characters still ended up switching voices between episodes, as only Krisztofóró, Treffhetes and III. Nagy Darab had consistent voice actors. Also, the final line of the end credits ("Pssst, he's sleeping.") was recorded by scriptwriter Gyula Nagy, making him the seventh (and uncredited) voice actor.
• What Could Have Been: Önfejű the baby dragon would have been called "ártány" in the opening lyrics — which normally means "castrated pig" but is also a very rarely used generic word for monsters or critters. Instead, the writers decided to cut off the song and have Önfejű finish it with a different word or term in every episode, to the annoyance of his parent.
