Trivia / Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble

Go To

  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The game wasn't officially re-released until 2023 (via Nintendo Switch Online's Game Boy app, taking advantage of the system's motion controls) thanks to it being reliant on the cartridge's built-in motion sensors to be played; even third-party emulators and flash carts had difficulty replicating the motion controls. As a result, while not too rare, the game fetched a pretty penny on secondhand gaming markets simply because that was the only way to reliably play it for over two decades, and even a loose cartridge could cost you.
  • No Export for You: This game originally wasn't released in Europe for reasons unknown. But it did finally have a release over twenty years later.
  • Prop Recycling: Most of Kirby's voice clips are recycled from Super Smash Bros. 64.
  • What Could Have Been: According to this article, the game was going to be rebranded as a Pokémon game outside Japan due to Pokémon 's major popularity at the time.
