• Acting for Two:
  • Russian:
    • Dokko, Barry and Pin are voiced by Mikhail Chernyak.
    • Sergey Mardar voices both Olga and Carlin.
    • Krash and Chiko both were voiced by Anton Vinogradov until the latter was recast with Vladimir Postnikov 13 episodes in.
  • English:
    • In 4Kids version, Dokko and Barry are voiced by David Wills.
    • FUN Union dub has Mike Pollock voice Carlin, Barry and Pin.
    • In the first two animated films, Tyler Bunch voiced Dokko and Pin, but the latter character was recast in the third film and the FUN Union dub.
• Banned Episode: "Glorious Tale of The Radiant Knight" was set to premiere on March 10, and later March 17 of 2022, before getting pulled from Kinopoisk's release schedule completely. It was accidentally released in the summer of that year on "Mult", before getting quickly removed from there, but the episode has already been leaked to the internet at that point. The plot is about Rosa fighting a dragon and it all ends with Wally giving viewers An Aesop, that "the best war is the one we could avoid". The episode has very unfortunately coincided with the events in Ukraine, and properly releasing it would have likely caused plenty of issues with the Russian regime.
• Cash-Cow Franchise: The show ran for over 200 episodes, had several spin-offs, 3 whole movies and then was Un-Cancelled in 2020. And that's without mentioning book adaptations, magazine, video games and various merchandise, most of which was only released in Russia.
• Casting Gag:
  • In the 4Kids version, Chiko is voiced by Jason Griffith, who is best known for voicing a certain other Hedgehog.
  • Dokko is voiced by Mikhail Chernyak in the original Russian version. This wasn't his first time playing a moose character, as he used to voice Bullwinkle, with the exact same voice tone to boot.
• Creator Cameo: In "Soccer Game: 1st half", the voice of the sportcaster Barry listens to on the radio is (in the original Russian voice track) that of episode's writer Aleksey Lebedev. The last names of the players he mentions - Chernov, Vasilyev and Yakovel - are also people who work on the series (episode's director, series' composer, and sound engineer respectively).
• Crossdressing Voices: Olga was voiced by Sergey Mardar (who is also the voice of male Carlin) in the original Russian version.
• Directed by Cast Member: As it was with several other 4Kids dubs, Eric Stuart was a voice director and Masked Minstrel's voice actor.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes:
  • The 4Kids English dub, GoGoRiki, was never released on DVD. Outside of the initial airing on their Saturday morning block on The CW, 4KidsTV.com was the only other way to watch it, but after 4Kids' bankruptcy and inevitable shutdown of their website in 2012, the dub became a lost media for the rest of The New '10s, with only few episodes circling around. It wasn't until mid-2020 when most of the dub resurfaced online, and even then it has not been recovered in its entirety, as few episodes are still missing. And that's not even mentioning 12 episodes that didn't air in the US, but were shown in the other English-speaking countries.
  • The Studio 100 dub had no home media releases either; it was primarily distributed online through YouTube, an Android app, and even Steam of all places. Its only TV airings were on Nickelodeon's Russian and Central/Eastern European feeds as an alternative audio track. After FUN Union got the rights to the show, the apps were privated, while the YT channel was abandoned until it was repurposed for their dub of PinCode, with all official uploads of the Studio 100 dub being removed. This means the only way to view this dub now is through unofficial re-uploads.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Russian version:
    • Chiko was voiced by Anton Vinogradov in the first 13 episodes of the show, before being replaced by Vladimir Postnikov.
    • Sergey Kuznetsov voiced Carlin in "A Prince for Rosa", before getting replaced by Sergey Mardar in his second appearance.
    • Rosa is primarily voiced by Svetlana Pismichenko in the show, but some episodes, video games and ABC's have Kseniya Brzhezovskaya as the voice.
    • Pin was voiced by Sergey Mardar in a CGI short "Electricity" and for one line in "The Disco Dancer".
  • English versions:
    • In Studio 100 dub, characters were initially voiced by unknown British actors. The dub later transferred to Canada, with the new voice actors being Lee Tockar, Richard Ian Cox, Tabitha St. Germain, Scott McNeil, and Brian Drummond.
    • In the 2012 dub of Team Invincible Krash is voiced by Peter Linz, Chiko is voiced by Marc Thompson, Dokko and Pin are voiced by Tyler Bunch, Rosa is voiced by Lisa Ortiz and Olga is voiced by Sondra James. Voice actors for Carlin (Mike Pollock) and Wally (Wayne Grayson) reprised their roles from the 4Kids version, the former also became a voice of Barry, and the latter went through Vocal Evolution. All of these voice actors would stay for Legend of the Golden Dragon and Deja Vu, with the exception of Lisa Ortiz as Rosa, who was now voiced by Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld. While Tyler Bunch still voiced Dokko, Deja Vu would cast William Hackett-Jones as Pin instead.
    • When the series' new dub got produced by FUN Union and 3Beep, most of the voice actors from the movies reprised their roles. The ones that were recast are Krash (now voiced by Billy Bob Thompson, though Peter Linz still voiced him in PinCode) and Olga (Whose voice actress is the only one that remains unknown). Pin's role was also given to Mike Pollock.
• Outlived Its Creator: One of the developers and main producers for the series, Anatoliy Prokhorov, passed away in August 2020, 5 months after the original series was brought back with New Season, which continued being produced for several years. "Magic Jar" was released next month In Memoriam to him.
• Out of Order: Many episodes aired out of their packaging order.
  • 4Kids dub had a seemingly random order, the first set of Three Shorts had "The Big Race", "Rosa's Birthday", and "The Telegraph". (30th, 19th, and 13th episodes respectively) The series' actual first episode, "The Bench", was in the 35th package, but that only aired in Canada.
  • One of the most prominent examples is PinCode, where "Engine of Progress" (an episode where Spheroscope, an important device later on in the season, appears) aired after "Year of The Sheep", where said device was properly introduced.
• What Could Have Been:
  • There are◊ some decidedly◊ different looking◊ concept artwork pieces of the characters floating around. At this point in development, the characters were named Sweet Teeth (Сластёны). Some characters were redesigned, others were scrapped with some of their aspects given to other characters.
    • Out of characters that did make it into the final concept, only Carlin is more or less the same as his final design. Dokko was fatter, had a bigger nose and smaller antlers, Chiko and Wally were quadrupeds, Krash had yellow sclerae and pink belly, and Olga had a mouth with beak serving as a nose.
    • Belchun, a squirrel with a penchant for chemistry, was scrapped because his big bushy tail was deemed not consistent with the ball-shaped animals concept.
    • Mokha the cat and Kokha the bear were meant to be a pair of best friends. The team liked these two, but couldn't come up with distinct character traits for either of them, so they were scrapped. Their Heterosexual Life-Partners dynamic was seemingly given to Krash and Chiko.
    • Guseniy (portmanteau of "goose" and "genius"), the inventor goose, was scrapped for the same reason as Belchun - his long neck broke the ball-shaped theme. He was repurposed into Pin, obvious because the hat Pin wears is similar to the one Guseniy is drawn with. A revamped version of this character did appear in the revived 2D series, though.
    • A green mouse, a butterfly and a bee, all of them being scrapped for, again, not being a ball.
    • Another scrapped character is DJ Robkiy (DJ Timid), a pig who is always wearing headphones. He would have hearing issues because of that. The idea of a pig character would make it into the final series with Rosa.
    • Buryonka the cow was a scrapped character whose entire characterisation was given to Rosa, making the latter a Composite Character of sorts. Two very different cow characters did make it into the 2009 New Year special, however.
    • Bul-Do was a bulldog artist covered in paint splotches. Some of his character traits were given to Barry.
    • Oneh, a genderless three-legged ghost living in the mountains, was scrapped since they were more square than round, continuing the theme of scrapping characters because of their shape.
  • Shusha was supposed to appear in "View from Above" special, but her sequence was cut, likely due to time constraints.
• Working Title:
  • "The Path to Decent Society" had the title "Привычки приличного общества" (Habits of a Decent Society) in its working materials.
  • "What Everybody Needs" made its debut on Good Night, Little Ones! as "Пирамидка" (Little Pyramid).
  • "A Story for Rosa" similarly debuted as "Чёрный ловелас" (Black Lovelace), named after Masked Minstrel, a minor character who made his debut in this episode.
  • New Season's "Lapus, Ficus, Khryapus" was originally known as "Палка истины" (The Stick of Truth). The exact reason for the change is unknown, but the most common assumption is to avoid possible controversy as the title was a reference to a certain much more mature work.
• Written by Cast Member: Vadim Bochanov, Wally's Russian voice actor, became a screenwriter for several episodes of New Season. ^Specifically"Watchman", "Cellar", "Wool", "Hat" and "Museum"
