- Dueling Works: Kaiketsu Zorro has quite a bit in common with Rurouni Kenshin, being that both are anime shows which debuted around the same year in 1996 that feature romantic swordsmen fighting for justice. It also helps that both series take place within the 1800s. Both shows also had quite a few similar archetypes as Zorro had Lolita as his strong willed love interest and Bernard as the little boy sidekick who followed him around, whereas Kenshin had Kaoru as his plucky love interest and Yahiko as his own boy sidekick. Both series also featured some very similar scenes because at different points during the two series, both Zorro and Kenshin led full frontal charges against villains with gatling guns and cut them down.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The show itself is readily available on Youtube and DVD. However, the japanese version has never seen any kind of home video or digital release, making it extremely hard to find even on the Internet.
