- Box Office Bomb: Casablanca Records was confident that these albums would be blockbusters, shipping a combined 5 million copies of the four albums to stores. Instead, the label took a huge loss, with total sales for all four records only adding up to about 1.5 million units (about as much as the then-latest KISS album, Love Gun, had sold by itself). None of the albums could even crack the Top 20 on the Billboard album chart (Simmons' was the highest charter at #22), and they only produced one bonafide hit single, Frehley's "New York Groove".
