• Cross-Dressing Voices: Black Canary's voice-actress, Morena Baccarin, also voiced (uncredited) Mandragora's son Edgar in the episode.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Dwayne McDuffie's original pitch was a full on Birds of Prey episode, with Barbara Gordon adopting the Oracle moniker after being injured as Batgirl and benched by Batman (and with Dinah and Helena being recruited as her agents on the ground). Barbara was ultimately off-limits due to the Bat Embargo and so it was reworked as a Huntress/Black Canary episode.
  • Gail Simone's said she enjoyed working on this episode and was interested in coming back to Unlimited with a pitch for a Queen of Fables-centric story. Alas, it never panned out (though odds are good it probably would've been the basic plot of the Queen of Fables arc Simone did several years later on Wonder Woman.
