- In Memoriam: Part 1 is dedicated to George PĂ©rez, the main artist behind the original Crisis on Infinite Earths who passed away in 2022.
- The Other Darrin:
- Part 3 will have Corey Stoll as Lex Luthor in place of Zachary Quinto and Jennifer Hale taking over from Grey DeLisle as Aya. In Stoll's case, he's voicing a variant of Luthor different than the one Quinto voiced.
- John Constantine is voiced by Nolan North in Part 1 as the homeless man instead of Matt Ryan to hide his true identity.
- Reality Subtext: While it's unclear how much was planned, this Crisis adaptation and presumably the end of the Tomorrowverse (and by extension the DC Animated Movie Universe) is happening right before the planned reboot of the DC Extended Universe into the "DC Universe" under James Gunn, which is planned to have its own animated projects alongside live-action ones. So one can't help but feel DC/WB is "cleaning house" regarding its animation projects just like how DC Comics cleaned house with its multiverse through the original comic story.
- Role Reprise: Part Two sees Will Friedle reprising Terry McGinnis from Batman Beyond.
- Swan Song: It's been confirmed that the third and final part will feature one of Kevin Conroy's final appearances as Batman, alongside Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. He will also appear alongside Mark Hamill as the Joker in their final performance together as the two archenemies, since Hamill has decided to retire as the voice of Joker after Conroy's death.
