  • The Cameo: The drivers of the prison van are played by Asi Yisraelof and Shalom Michaelshvili, who worked with Tzion Baruch in the comic trio Shishliyat Ma Kashur.
  • Casting Gag: Menahem and Asher, both ex-criminals, team up at the end of Season 1 to take on the French mafia. Previously Amos Tamam and Morris Cohen played partners in the police taking on The Mafiya in Downtown Precinct.
  • The Cast Showoff: Tzion Baruch shows off his impressive dancing skills in episode 1 of season 2.
  • The Danza: Amos Tamam as Asher Tamam...then subverted when find out that it's not his real name - it's the name he was assigned when he went into the witness protection program. Played straight with Ilanit Levy as Orit Levy and Rani Bleier as Avichai Bleier.
  • Fake Nationality: The Romanian and French characters are played by Israeli actors.
  • Late Export for You: The first season was released in Israel in 2017, but not released on Hulu until 2019. The second season was released in Israel in autumn 2020 and released on Hulu in May 2021.
  • Playing Against Type: Tzion Baruch made his name in Israel as a comedian.
    • Mike Burstyn as the Rabbi. The Israeli-American actor, a staple of Yiddish theater since childhood, had also been known mostly as a comic actor.
  • Produced by Cast Member / Written by Cast Member: Tzion Baruch produced and wrote the series as well as starring in it.
  • Reality Subtext: Amos Tamam and Tzion Baruch are Heterosexual Life-Partners in Real Life as well, having known each other since high school, with Amos Tamam (two years older than Tzion Baruch) playing the role of big brother.
