• Recycled Script: The angle with Quake "squashing" Damien was later recycled in Jim Cornette's Smoky Mountain Wrestling at the end of 1994, with Chris Candido "killing" Boo Bradley (Balls Mahoney)'s cat Boots the same way.

  • On the February 15, 2013 WWE SmackDown after Tensai (Matt "Prince Albert"/"Albert"/"A-Train" Bloom) and Brodus Clay had defeated 3MB (Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal). During the Dance Party Ending after the match with The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi), commentator John "Bradshaw" Layfield said, "It's like the Natural Disasters crossed with Colombian TV."

• What Could Have Been: In his WrestleCrap interview, said that he had pitched to Paul Heyman the idea of he, Kurrgan and Typhoon doing an "invasion" angle in ECW and beating up all the little babyfaces, and was turned down.
  • John could have gone pretty far as a sumo, but between the toll the ring surface was taking on his body, and the fact that he would have had to have his tattoo removed via skin graft before moving up to higher ranks, he elected to move to pro wrestling instead.
  • He was originally supposed to come back as his Earthquake gimmick when he returned to the WWF in 1998, but he'd lost so much weight by then that they felt he wouldn't live up to his old image, thus him being rechristened as the masked Golga.
