• Cross-Dressing Voices: In the Japanese dub, Joe is voiced by Ohta Shoko.
• You Look Familiar: The series continued Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons' repertory puppet stable, with the added change of both "casting" from the stable for the show's regulars (the Sam Loover and Shane Weston puppets had made numerous appearances as different characters on Captain Scarlet) and adding the previous series' regular cast to the repertory puppets. As a result, several puppets remain recognisable as their Captain Scarlet characters - most notably, the Colonel White puppet as Sam's father in "Relative Danger", the Captain Black puppet as General Valdes in "Viva Cordova" and the Captain Ochre puppet, which made numerous appearances as different characters throughout the series.
