• Blooper: At one point in episode 47, there's an error: when Luna speaks, she's talking with Milky's voice instead of her own.
• Bonus Episode: The OVA, known to some as "episode 53", only obtainable through a particular (and pricey) home video release of the season.
• Cross-Dressing Voice: Nicola is voiced by a woman.
• Distanced from Current Events: Episode 50 of Twinkle was to air on the 12th of March, 2011, a day after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake struck. This episode and the one after feature intense scenes of fighting and destruction (albeit in a very fantasistic fashion that probably wouldn't evoke the earthquake), and so it was one of the many anime to be postponed to a week later.
• No Export for You: Italy, Greece and Russia stuck to the first series.
