  • The french version of the film has many notable singers and actors; notable examples include Matthias Malzieu, Olivia Ruiz, Grand Corps Malade and Jean Rochefort.
  • In the English Dub, Miss Acacia is voiced by Samantha Barks.
• Cut Song: the movie's songs come from a Concept Album made by Dionysos, and some of them either didn't make the cut or are instead used as instrumentals; one example is "Tais-Toi Mon Coeur".
• Dawson Casting: in the film, the characters of Jack, Miss Acacia and Joe are supposed to be teenagers. By the time of release, Matthias Malzieu (Jack) was 39, Olivia Ruiz (Miss Acacia) was 33, and Grand Corps Malade (Joe) was 36.
• Descended Creator: Matthias Malzieu, who voices Jack, co-directed the movie.
• Self-Adaptation: Matthias Malzieu, who as mentioned above co-directed the movie and voiced the protagonist, is also the author of the novel on which the movie is based upon.
• What Could Have Been: the movie was originally going to be animated using Stop-Motion, as previosly used in the music video for the song "Tais-Toi Mon Coeur"; it was eventually decided to instead use computer animation, which is sad, as the animation used in the video is gorgeous and would have fitted the movie.
