• Hypothetical Casting: In addition to the Mickey and Friends voice actors keeping their usual voice actors as well as the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy characters, many other voice acting choices are given by the author for the story.
  • In addition to taking over as Minnie Mouse for the stories produced from July 2020 onward, Kaitlyn Robrock also takes over as Drizella Tremaine, Grandma Duck, and Phantasma.
  • Gosalyn Mallard was initially voiced by Kath Soucie due to Christine Cavanaugh's passing, though she would be replaced by Stephanie Beatriz to match up with the version seen on DuckTales 2017.
  • Shaggy and Scooby in their brief appearances in a Ghoul School flashbacks are voiced by their current voice actors Matthew Lillard and Frank Welker.
  • For the movie franchises represented in the series (both non-Disney and Disney), the characters are voiced by the movie voice actors, even applying The Original Darrin on some such as Woody, Buzz, Sulley, and Mike Waskowski being voiced by Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, John Goodman, and Billy Crystal rather than their video game voice actors Jim Hanks, Mike McRae, Christopher Swindle, and Carlos Alazraqui.
  • The DuckTales exclusive characters are voiced by the voice actors from the 2017 series.
  • Instead of their Kingdom Hearts voice actors of Enn Reitel and Russi Taylor, Scrooge and the nephews are voiced by their DuckTales 2017 voice actors David Tennant and Danny Pudi/Ben Schwartz/Bobby Moynihan.
  • Darkwing Duck/Drake Mallard is voiced by Jim Cummings from the 1991 original instead of Chris Diamantopoulos with same applying for Dan Castellaneta returning as Megavolt instead of Keith Ferguson. Kath Soucie also returns as Morgana Mawcaber.
  • For the Rescue Rangers exclusive characters, Tress MacNeille takes over as Foxglove in addition to returning as Gadget, Jim Cummings and Corey Burton return as Monterey Jack and Zipper.
  • Jose Carioca and Panchito Pistoles are voiced by their DuckTales 2017 voice actors Bernardo de Paula and Arthuro del Puerto.
  • The Legend of the Three Caballeros exclusive characters also retain their voice actors.
  • Initially Violet's dads were assigned to Jeff Bennett and Dee Bradley Baker. They were reassigned to Keith Ferguson and Travis Willingham later on.
  • Nika Futterman returns as Cuckoo Loca.
  • Cathy Cavadini voices Strelitzia.
  • Brian Hull takes over from the deceased David Ogden Stiers as Cogsworth.
  • For the American Tail characters whose voice actors are deceased or retired, August Marturo is Fievel, Jim Cummings takes over as Tiger, and Brian Hull takes over as Wylie Burp.
  • "In Loving Memory" has Billy West voicing Bugs Bunny.
