The series' character artwork was done by doujin mangaka Yoshida-On, who made a little-known H-doujinshi titled Kesson Shoujo (Defected Girl) about Bikko, a girl who lost her left leg and her right eye from an accident. This character was inspired by an acquaintance of Yoshida-On who lost an arm and some of her fingers in a car accident but didn't let her disabilities get in the way and still held a positive outlook on life.
