- Acting for Two: Tom Kane handles a few different characters. Twice, two of the characters he voices interact:
- When Callisto is captured in the original game, Skeeter handles the interrogation. Kane voices both characters, though all the latter does in this scene is giggle, disturbingly.
- Natty Dread in the Nitro Pack is also voiced by Kane, and in one mission he and Skeeter battle and trade comments.
- Franchise Killer: Interstate '82 was seen as dumbed-down compared to the first game for largely abandoning its simulation approach to Vehicular Combat, met a far more mixed reception as a result, and wound up the last game in the series.
- The 1980s and vehicular combat themes would be realised far more effectively in Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
