Trivia / Inazuma Eleven: Ares

Go To

  • Dueling Works: Ares ran during the same season and time slot as the 2018 Captain Tsubasa remake.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • In the Latin Spanish dub, the dub was recorded in Colombia instead of Mexico, where the original series was dubbed, not only replacing the voices of the original characters, but also using the English names for all of the characters (including the original generation), something that didn't happen in the Latin license of the original series. And being both seasons dubbed by the Televix license, this was probably a decision from Level-5.
    • For some reason, this also happened with the Brazilian dub of the spin-off, but unlike the Latin Spanish one, the dubbing studio for Ares also dubbed the first movie years before with the original cast, but in Ares they also changed the voice of most of the original characters and used the English names too.
  • Official Fan-Submitted Content:
    • Two members from Tonegawa Tousen, Tanukigahara Ponko and Muhyou Jou, are both fan characters during a competition for Inazuma Walker in 2017.
    • Another Inazuma Walker Fan Character Contest took place in 2018. The winner characters, Kakehasi Tsugu and Racerit Spot, were added as members of Guardians of Queen in Orion no Kokuin.
  • Playing Against Type: Kikuko Inoue playing the massive bitch Irina Girinkan.
  • What Could Have Been: An interview reveals that Ares was supposed to be around 50 episodes long. However, Hino wanted the ending of the series to coincide with the World Cup's start and thus the pacing of the anime was rushed.
