• Throw It In!: The whole sequence with Amelia wasn't planned ahead of time.
• What Could Have Been: If it hadn't been for writing Amelia's segment on a whim, Mark's story segment would've been different. Mark and some other person would've been taken during the dance, QIB would've had to use a mirror far away from other people (probably a car mirror in the parking lot) to go in to avoid being seen, they'd choose to save Mark, and there would've been an actual fight with Lynne for the first time, which she would've lost. Mark's Idol fight would've been really tough thanks to Lynne weakening QIB, but they'd still manage a narrow victory. And what would happen after would be... very bad.
