- Cult Classic: A very rare find nowadays, mostly due to two animated studios collaborating to make a show for two very different audiences. However, anyone who gets to watch often says a lot of good things about it.
- The Danza: Steve Blum plays Amy's doctor, Dr. Blum
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The DVD release for the show was handled by Bandai Entertainment which means that said releases went out of print when Bandai ceased DVD production entirely. Thankfully, Discotek Media later picked up the license and released new DVDs.
- Network to the Rescue: The show was written off by Cartoon Network after it stopped airing, meaning that it couldn't be aired on the channel or any of its sister networks again. Fortunately, thanks to its complex production, the production crew behind Toonami was able to get the show un-written off, thus allowing them to rerun it.
- Screwed by the Network: The show was struck by this in the middle of its second season, where it was suddenly switched from its regular Toonami evening timeslot to a non-Toonami late-night timeslot without warning. In addition, it was revealed via Toonami's official Tumblr after its resurrection that the series itself was cut short due to low ratings. Before this, many had speculated it was because of production costs, among other reasons.
