• Actor Allusion: The Takarazuka Revue version is a pileup of allusions.
  • Elisabeth deserves its own bullet point, because most of the cast members were in the 2018-2019 production by the Moon Troupe, Zuka's company structure being what it is.
    • Romy Edler (named after Romy Schneider, the most famous non-musical actress to play Sisi) is jokingly said to be the Archduchess Sophie of Hotel Edler, and her son Franz-Josef Edler (Josi) can't go against her.
    • Emma Carter sarcastically retorts that her full, real name is actually Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie von Wittelsbach. Her actress Misono Sakura played one of Elisabeth's ladies-in-waiting, and Elisabeth herself in the shinjin kouen (junior performances).
    • Elfie mentions Rudolph Valentino to Pablo, played by Akatsuki Chisei (Crown Prince Rudolf).
    • Lucheni's pink sparkly jacket reappears, although no longer worn by Tsukishiro Kanato (Richard Rattinger).
  • A plethora of historical costumes can be spotted in the Opera Ball scene, including characters from Elisabeth and 1789.
  • Romeo et Juliette: De La Haine a l'Amour is mentioned during Kiss, Kiss, Emma and Josi's first bonding moment. When Emma complains that she would be frozen to death (their second bonding moment, locked in the patisserie), Josi jokes that it means her beauty would be eternal. Josi's actress, Tamaki Ryou, played Death in Roméo et Juliette (as well as the aforementioned Elisabeth) and Roméo for the junior (shinjin kouen) performances. During Roméo's Death, he notes that Juliette's beauty hasn't changed, and asks her to answer him with her cold lips.
  • Emma says she tasted something like the Edlertorte at the Takarazuka Hotel in Japan.
• Backed by the Pentagon: The police costumes used in the show are the real deal (complete with handcuffs, though no one gets cuffed during the show) and not supposed to leave the theatre. They appear in a scene ridiculing the Viennese police force as overzealously incompetent. Granted, this is because of legal measures that forbid the show from making its own replica of police costumes.
