• Dummied Out: Goku originally had a variation of his Spirit Bomb finisher where he absorbs it, turns Super Saiyan and passes through the opponent as a Mythology Gag to the Super Android 13 movie. Later updates removed this finisher due to SS Goku becoming a separate character.

• The Other Darrin: Some characters (particularly Vegeta and Frieza) were given new voice work exclusively for the game, though both the Funimation and Japanese voices are selectable for every character.
• What Could Have Been: If Mr. Satan wasn't revamped, the Great Saiyaman would have been added in.
