• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Gathering Clouds, a prequel novella of the series, was only published with the DVD of the film adaptation of Rain, and some newer copies of the film don't contain it. The ghostwriter at one point talked about the possibility of the story being rereleased as an ebook, but nothing has come of it.
• What Could Have Been: The Hudson series was originally going to have darkness-themed titles instead of weather-themed ones, with the first book titled Shadow and the second was Silhouette of Tears (They later became Rain and Lightning Strikes, respectively).
