• Deleted Scene: A scene from early in the episode, with House's team sat in their office waiting for their next case, was chopped out of this one and moved to the next episode.
• What Could Have Been: The pilot was originally going to be filmed in Canada, but several of the cast and producers successfully lobbied for it to be switched to Los Angeles instead, as they were worried that the network would probably insist on the full series being produced in Canada as well if it were picked up, which would have caused them family issues. The casting of Rekha Sharma — who mostly acts in Canadian productions — in a bit part is likely a remnant of the original filming plans.
