  • What Could Have Been:
    • The 0.40 update changed a few things related to the world:
      • Colossal Reconstruction was a Warrior skill that used to be in the game: it had the effect of increasing your block and allowing you to heal after blocking. It was removed and its functionality is given to the Bulwark skill.
      • Taunt used to be able to stun opponents outright: this was removed and separated into a new skill: Relentless Cry. Now Taunt only applies a slowing debuff.
      • Bulwark used to increase damage dealt to enemies: this was given to the new Enrage skill while Bulwark inherited the effect of the removed Colossal Reconstruction (as stated above).
      • Shatterspine and the Crystal Giants were Lvl 45 mobs that resided at the castle in the centre of the map. They were removed and replaced with a miniboss named Nightshade in order to theme the centre to the upcoming Gloomfury Worldboss event. Shatterspine was previously the strongest mob in the game barring the Faviel Worldboss.
    • The following 0.50 update overhauled the entirety of the mobs and the worldmap.
      • Originally, the world was split into three separate realms; Guardstone, Headless Landing, and Faviel. Now, all three realms have been reintegrated as far larger areas of a massive map.
        • Guardstone was the starting realm of the game, and housed mobs between levels 1-26. A hilly forest, any player could access this realm. It's strongest mob was a boss located in the center of the map named Udei. The merchant was also located here. It has since been reworked into the starting realm that occupies the northern section of the World Map.
        • Headless Landing was a desert island realm which housed mobs between levels 25-35. Only players above level 25 could access it. It's strongest mob was a spider boss located in the southeast of the map named Bonemother. An otherwise barren and activity-less realm, Headless was primarily used for gold farming or for 1v1 duels due to the close proximity of the Vanguard and Bloodlust bases. Now, it has been massively expanded and made into whati s now the southwestern section of the map.
        • Faviel was the final realm of the game, set in a coastal forest near a large depression at the center of the map. Mobs here ranged from levels 35 to 45. Only players above level 35 could enter. Faviel was home to most of the game's events, including Gloomfury and Obelisk events. Currently, five new major areas have been added to it and it makes up the southeastern section of the map.
      • Prior to update 0.5.0, dying would simply respawn you at the nearest Conjurer. Now, a new overworld neutral NPC named the Priest will respawn you. You also respawn temporarily as a ghost where you cannot be attacked (but you also cannot attack or use any spells) and you have increased movement speed allowing you to return to your death spot quickly.
      • The update also changed the Serpent Arrows spell, which was originally considered useless, to longer cost skill points.
