• Channel Hop: 20th Television Animation will serve as the production company for season 2, due to Marvel Television being absorbed into Marvel Studios.
• Playing Against Type:
  • Reiko Aylesworth as Lady Bullseye.
    • Even more so for Olivia Munn when she takes up the mantle.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Originally, Hit-Monkey was meant to be the second of four adult animated Marvel series for Hulu, following M.O.D.O.K. (2021). The show was to be followed by entries for Tigra and Dazzler, and Howard the Duck, which would have all cumulated in a crossover special titled The Offenders. Upon Marvel Television being restructured to be under the umbrella of Marvel Studios, the latter two series, as well as The Offenders, were cancelled. While this show and its predecessor were ultimately still made, the fact that they have two different animation styles and M.O.D.O.K was cancelled means a crossover is unlikely though officially the two shows still exist in the same universe.
  • The creators wanted to use the original Bullseye, but Marvel told them they couldn't use him. They compromised with using Lady Bullseye, though they gave her the original's sadistic personality.
