• Executive Meddling - The original plotline for the TV series was for the Northern and Southern tournament teams to work together to defend Terra Nova against an Earth invasion in the middle of a war between the North and South after tensions boiled over following the tournament. This would have been fine, except the executives bigwigs thought that the viewers wouldn't get it, so instead after the tournament arc finishes within a dozen or so episodes, they just limp to the end of the 40 episode order with a bunch of rematches, recaps and clip shows
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: There hasn't been an official re-release of the original two videogames and they hardly work on modern computer systems.
• What Could Have Been - The original plotline for the TV show. Instead, we got half a series worth of Filler.
