Cant Unhear It: Shirley Booth's performance as Hazel was so ubiquitous that, when an animated version of Hazel appeared in a commercial for Burst detergent, Ruth Holden voiced her with an impersonation of Booth, despite being animated in the style of the original comic. Unfortunately, this did not go over well with the real Booth, who sued over the use of her likeness.
Written-In Infirmity: During production of the first season, Don DeFore injured his right hand bad enough that he had to wear a cast for a while. This was written into a few episodes, most notably the color special "What'll We Watch Tonight?" for which they had to refilm the opening sequence; there, they tried to hide his injured hand, but sharp-eyed viewers could still spot it.
You Look Familiar: Ann Jillian appears in one Season 3 episode as Rosie's niece Laurie before becoming a regular in Season 5 as Steve's secretary Millie.
