• What Could Have Been: Rook and Thom were originally supposed to be paired off in Havemercy, but in the end weren't. The authors state that it's because their dynamic is just more interesting outside of a romantic relationship, but another likely reason is that they couldn't slip a gay incestuous relationship under the radar. As a result they maintain an incredible amount of chemistry and UST that ultimately doesn't lead anywhere.
