Trivia / Harvest Moon (Natsume)

• Dueling Works: With Story of Seasons, obviously. In fact, there are a number of games in this series that were either released at the same time as, or not too far before or after a Story of Seasons entry.
• Money, Dear Boy: Basically the reason these games even exist; Harvest Moon made up most of Natsume's revenue, and after Marvelous parted ways with them, Natsume kept the name, so they made their own games to keep the revenue coming.
• No Export for You: None of the games have been released in Japan.
• Pop-Culture Urban Legends: It's often spouted that Natsume took the "Harvest Moon" name away from Marvelous, forcing them to rename the series. In reality, Marvelous decided the new name on their own and left Natsume with the old name.
• Similarly Named Works: Harvest Moon shares its name with a Neil Young album, a Blue Öyster Cult song, and a large produce company in the tiny island of Tasmania.
