- Dummied Out: There was to be an additional tunnel linking Downtown to Reservoir, which got removed before the final release. The tunnel still existed in the game world, but all AI pathing through it had been disabled and the openings blocked, so it was completely unreachable until one of the latest fan-made patches reopened it.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The game's original developer, The Software Refinery, went into liquidation in 2002. From that point, between 2002-2023, getting original copies of the game was a tall task as the game was effectively out of print due to poor marketing decisions made by the original publisher Gremlin Interactive (Interplay for the North American market) and can only be bought at eCommerce sites like eBay and Amazon, although at reasonably cheap prices. With the Jordan Freeman Group, ZOOM Platform Media, and Funbox Media Ltd. companies having newly acquired the rights to re-publish the game in 2021 and have released a Steam port version of the game in February 15, 2023, this trope is finally averted.
