- Acting for Two:
- Yutaka Aoyama voices the captains of both the Salamandra and the Knossos.
- Tetsu Inada voices Gavan Magdala and the captain of the Garanden.
- Actor Allusion: This isn't the first time Takuya Sato ended up voicing a Char Clone.
- Creator Backlash: Yoshiyuki Tomino has admitted that he didn't like how the story turned out since he didn't write the show in a way that was easy to follow. He even said that on a scale from 1 to 100, he'd get 15 points.
- Creator Cameo: The farmer's father in the final episode is voiced by Tomino himself (under the pseudonym Rin Iogi).
- In a lesser sense, the dancing used in the eyecatches was done by sketching Tomino's daughter doing the coreography.
- Flip-Flop of God: Tomino seems to change when the series is supposed to take place on a whim, initially stating it was about a thousand years after the Universal Century only to later state it is after Turn A Gundam instead. Sunrise seems to state this takes place before Turn A, being part of the Black History.
- No Dub for You: Despite the show receiving a physical release, there currently does not exist an English dub.
- No Export for You: A particularly biting example. Two seasons after it aired, Sunrise finally started to stream the show English-subbed on their GundamInfo YouTube channel, only to restrict it to Asian countries after several episodes streamed worldwide.
- This is no longer an issue with the show receiving a physical release on Blu-Ray and DVD thanks to Bayview Entertainment.
