• What Could Have Been: Originally, the portal in the basement was going to be off, but the board artists insisted that the season had to end on a bigger moment, so it ended on Stan activating the portal. This proved to be a problem for writing Season 2, since the writers had to come up with a reason for the portal to not immediately be at full power.
