• Real Song Theme Tune:
  • The song playing in the live-action movie is "Rhythm" by Engineers Without Fears.
  • The menu music in the game proper is "Short Change" by E-Z Rollers.
• Rereleased for Free: Grand Theft Auto and this game were commercially released games. The Windows ports of the first two games were re-released as freeware to encourage people to sign up for the Rockstar Propaganda newsletter and on Steam. Unfortunately, there were delisted on Steam for reasons unknown.
• Technology Marches On: The game, which is set in 20 Minutes into the Future (depending on who you ask), resorts to using phone booths as points where the player receives missions (as is in earlier GTA games). Being a game that incorporates Zeerust aesthetics, though, this bit of detail can be forgiven as being a stylistic choice.
